How to make a cauliflower pizza base

Ever heard of a cauliflower pizza base? If not, you’re in for a treat! Cauliflower pizza is a delicious, low-carb alternative to traditional pizzas that are loaded with carbs. And trust us, it tastes just as good!

To make a cauliflower pizza base, you’ll need:

1 large head of cauliflower

1 egg, beaten

1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon of dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon of salt

Here’s how to make it:

1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

2. Chop the cauliflower into florets and place them into a food processor.

3. Pulse the cauliflower until it resembles rice.

4. Transfer the “cauli-rice” to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 5 minutes.

5. Let the cauliflower cool slightly, then transfer it to a clean tea towel or cheesecloth.

6. Squeeze out as much liquid as possible from the cauliflower.

7. In a large bowl, mix together the squeezed cauliflower, egg, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, oregano and salt.

8. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread out the cauliflower mixture.

9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.

10. Add your favourite toppings and whack it into your pizza oven.
